Children's Book Week is the national celebration of books and reading for youth.
Since 1919, Children's Book Week has been celebrated countrywide with author & illustrator appearances, parties, storytelling, and other book-related events in schools, libraries, bookstores, clubs -- anywhere where kids and books connect. You can join in the fun by coming to the library and picking up your "It's All About Books" Poster to color. Take it home or leave it at the library for us to hang up. You'll also find puzzles, book lists and games to play.

When can I get a Library Card?
Children can get a library card as soon as they can write their first and last name - somewhere between 4 & 5 years old. Come into the library, or fill out the online application to open up a world of reading adventure!
